Life is such a wild thing. It really loves to challenge you sometimes, but itโs also so beautiful.
If you had told me two months ago, when I was in Italy, that by May Iโd be living in Miami, and traveling to Austin once a month to shoot new recipes, I never would have believed you. I couldnโt have predicted any of it.
But here I am, doing it. And honestly, so much more too.
These past two months have brought more growth and learning than I think Iโve ever experienced in such a short time. Some days felt hard, but so many were happy, beautiful, and completely unexpected.
Right now Iโm writing to you from Austin, and I feel really lucky to be here with a team that works so hard during our shoot weeks. Weโve been having the best time on set.
And Miami, I canโt wait to get back. Getting to spend time in one of my favorite places, with the people I love most, just feels really special.
As so many of you know, my mom, Jen, is my business partner. Like any mother-daughter duo, we have our ups and downs, but right now our relationship feels stronger than everโboth in work and in life.
We had the best Motherโs Day. I made her favorite meal (Iโll be sharing those recipes soon!), we spoiled her with a few gifts, took a slow sunset walk, and somehow she ended the night with a very unexpected dip in the pool.
Time with family is everything to me. Itโs the biggest blessing, and I feel so grateful for it right now.
Life can be hard, but finding the beauty in it all is what matters most. Even on the tough days, thereโs always somethingโsomething small, something quietโthat can shift your perspective. Hold onto that, and share that energy when you can. It really does make a difference.
All this to say, I feel really happy. Truly grateful. And so thankful for this space and this community. Getting to share recipes that bring even a little bit of joy into your lives means more to me than I can put into words.
And I promiseโthis is all Tieghan, just with a few wording edits by my sweet mom, just like sheโs done for the past fourteen years.
I say this a lot, but I really mean it, Iโm excited. For whatโs ahead, for this season, for all of it.
And for the little things tooโฆsunshine, flowers, candles, and even a little flaky sea salt finish on just about everything. Quick tip: the Whole Foods 365 flaky sea salt is so good. Truly one of my favorites.
So tell me, whatโs one thing that made life feel beautiful for you this week? Big or small, I know there must be something and Iโd love to hear it!

intriguing meโฆ I still havenโt bitten the bullet and ordered this vibration plate. Everyone is talking about them. I really want to try one, but is it actually worth it? And will I realistically use it?

Also loving this Leather Flap Bag โit looks so similar to the designer Loewe bag. Maybe even cuter?
And the limited edition Limited Edition Leather City Bagโฆ very reminiscent of The Row.
Plus, their ZW Collection Satin Halter Dress is made for a summer wedding.

followingโฆElizabeth Endres Orrigo. Iโve really been enjoying her content these past few weeks. I started with her podcast and then found her on Instagram. Sheโs very wellness-focused, but in a way that doesnโt feel overwhelming like so much content online right now.
travelingโฆVilla San Michele in Florence, Italy. Weโre heading back to Italy in September (not decided for sure, but I would like to), and I want to stay for a week in Florence. The Villa San Michele looks like a work of art, both inside and out. Just look at the Villas and the views around the property. I canโt wait to visit!

Summer Cookbook Dinner Club Party Menu
Iโve been brainstorming new ideas for summer, fall, and even the holiday content! I loved the summer Dinner Club we hosted in Palm Beach last year. I am curious, what entertaining content would actually feel the most helpful for you guys right now?
I feel like so many of us are looking for entertaining ideas that feel beautiful, but still low-pressure. A simpler way of hosting that feels special without requiring days of prep. Elevated, but relaxed.
My thoughts are easy summer menus, casual themed dinners, simple tablescapes, chilled desserts, cozy fall gatherings, and fun holiday hosting ideas. Maybe even bringing back more โDinner Clubโ style content too.
Would genuinely love to hear what youโre looking for most when it comes to entertaining content right now. Your insight always helps me so much as I brainstorm!

Hi Teighan! Iโve loved your recipes and have been making them for years. If you have some time this summer, let me throw out a suggestion for some tiki-inspired cocktails. (Next time youโre in Austin, go to Tiki-Tatsuya if you havenโt beenโitโs hard not to want tiki after spending an hour there.) By the way, if that was you I saw running around the lake on Monday or Tuesday, congrats on the pace in all that heat!
Thanks so much, Lindsay! I appreciate this suggestion, I will definitely add to my list! Have a great weekend!
Iโm a fourth generation Miamian. Welcome! Iโd suggest you visit some wonderful local cuisines like Argentinian, Colombian, Cuban and Puerto Rican. Also use some of our fantastic local fruits and vegetables in your recipes.
Thanks so much for sharing these suggestions!
