Life is such a wild thing. It really loves to challenge you sometimes, but it’s also so beautiful.

If you had told me two months ago, when I was in Italy, that by May I’d be living in Miami, and traveling to Austin once a month to shoot new recipes, I never would have believed you. I couldn’t have predicted any of it.

But here I am, doing it. And honestly, so much more too.

These past two months have brought more growth and learning than I think I’ve ever experienced in such a short time. Some days felt hard, but so many were happy, beautiful, and completely unexpected.

Right now I’m writing to you from Austin, and I feel really lucky to be here with a team that works so hard during our shoot weeks. We’ve been having the best time on set.

And Miami, I can’t wait to get back. Getting to spend time in one of my favorite places, with the people I love most, just feels really special.

As so many of you know, my mom, Jen, is my business partner. Like any mother-daughter duo, we have our ups and downs, but right now our relationship feels stronger than ever—both in work and in life.

We had the best Mother’s Day. I made her favorite meal (I’ll be sharing those recipes soon!), we spoiled her with a few gifts, took a slow sunset walk, and somehow she ended the night with a very unexpected dip in the pool.

Time with family is everything to me. It’s the biggest blessing, and I feel so grateful for it right now.

Life can be hard, but finding the beauty in it all is what matters most. Even on the tough days, there’s always something—something small, something quiet—that can shift your perspective. Hold onto that, and share that energy when you can. It really does make a difference.

All this to say, I feel really happy. Truly grateful. And so thankful for this space and this community. Getting to share recipes that bring even a little bit of joy into your lives means more to me than I can put into words.

And I promise—this is all Tieghan, just with a few wording edits by my sweet mom, just like she’s done for the past fourteen years.

I say this a lot, but I really mean it, I’m excited. For what’s ahead, for this season, for all of it.

And for the little things too…sunshine, flowers, candles, and even a little flaky sea salt finish on just about everything. Quick tip: the Whole Foods 365 flaky sea salt is so good. Truly one of my favorites.

So tell me, what’s one thing that made life feel beautiful for you this week? Big or small, I know there must be something and I’d love to hear it!

1. Things I’m Loving.

intriguing me… I still haven’t bitten the bullet and ordered this vibration plate. Everyone is talking about them. I really want to try one, but is it actually worth it? And will I realistically use it?

cooking with…Salad Freak: Recipes to Feed a Healthy Obsession by Jess Damuck. Jess shares the BEST recipes you all. Her book is amazing for summer. Her book highlights summer produce and turns out the most delicious recipes.

drinking…the Ballerina Farm Farmers Protein! I’ve gotten my whole family hooked on this blend. So far, it’s the best we’ve tried. Our favorite flavors are Creamy Chocolate, Maple Cinnamon, and Vanilla. Next up: Chocolate Coconut Almond and Strawberry Crème.

everything in my cart (low)…Zara finds! This OPEN BACK MIDI DRESS is the perfect everyday summer piece. Wear it with sandals during the day and heels at night.

Also loving this Leather Flap Bag —it looks so similar to the designer Loewe bag. Maybe even cuter?

And the limited edition Limited Edition Leather City Bag… very reminiscent of The Row.

Plus, their ZW Collection Satin Halter Dress is made for a summer wedding.

listening to…How To Become Your Most Aligned Self: Healing, TMS Pain, Manifestation & Self-Accountability Ft. Elizabeth Endres Orrigo. I really connected with the first half of this episode. Learning about TMS has been so interesting.

practicing…daily journaling and mindset shifts.

following…Elizabeth Endres Orrigo. I’ve really been enjoying her content these past few weeks. I started with her podcast and then found her on Instagram. She’s very wellness-focused, but in a way that doesn’t feel overwhelming like so much content online right now.

traveling…Villa San Michele in Florence, Italy. We’re heading back to Italy in September (not decided for sure, but I would like to), and I want to stay for a week in Florence. The Villa San Michele looks like a work of art, both inside and out. Just look at the Villas and the views around the property. I can’t wait to visit!

baking…Lavender Lemon Sugar Cookies. I adored these pretty cookies.

wearing…so many SET Active pieces. Asher and I both love their leggings, but I recently got the Sporty Short and Sporty Gym Bra and have been wearing them nonstop.

wanting…new sunglasses. These Miu Miu Oval Sunglasses are cute.

everything in my cart (beauty)…the Body Gloss Ultra-Rich Body Lotion from Dezi Skin is at the top of my summer must-haves list.

ordered…the new Havaianas Puffed Up Flip Flops. I needed an easy, comfy pair to slip on and wear around the yard—these are perfect!

everything in my cart (high)…designer pump. These PRADA Open Side Patent Leather Pumps go with everything and will never go out of style. The DIOR Whisper Pump might be my favorite, so chic, it’s always the little details. Then the GUCCI Vittoria Pump, classic and so pretty. And finally they SAINT LAURENT Madeleine Slingback Pumps —the fun shoe your party dresses need.

loving…the power of tiny shifts.

Summer Cookbook Dinner Club Party Menu

I’ve been brainstorming new ideas for summer, fall, and even the holiday content! I loved the summer Dinner Club we hosted in Palm Beach last year. I am curious, what entertaining content would actually feel the most helpful for you guys right now?

I feel like so many of us are looking for entertaining ideas that feel beautiful, but still low-pressure. A simpler way of hosting that feels special without requiring days of prep. Elevated, but relaxed.

My thoughts are easy summer menus, casual themed dinners, simple tablescapes, chilled desserts, cozy fall gatherings, and fun holiday hosting ideas. Maybe even bringing back more “Dinner Club” style content too.

Would genuinely love to hear what you’re looking for most when it comes to entertaining content right now. Your insight always helps me so much as I brainstorm!

  1. RE: Vibration Board… do it! Tho there are many less expensive ones that you can get, look for a curved one. Even if just 5 mins in the AM or at night for legs after alot of standing, it’s super relaxing and feels so good. Thanks for all the great recipes and their visual inspiration 🙂

  2. Have you tried Los Fuegos at Faena? Went there last week while in Miami – inspiring menu and atmosphere.

  3. Thanks for your beautiful posts! I love your insights, photos and of course your recipes. Filling a vase with lilacs and wildflowers from the yard beautified our week. Also planting a garden with my family was so fulfilling. Recipes made completely from a garden would be fun to see on your blog 🙂
Thanks again for sharing so much good!

    1. Hey Emily,
Thanks for reading each week and your kind message! You know I love my flowers, so I love that for you as well! I hope your garden does well this summer.

      Have a great week ahead!

  4. Good bbq marinades and also bbq sides, please. Though always happy with whatever you do. Also Uni k throw together lunches for the middle of busy weekend days. 🙂

So glad to hear life is good for you atm, sweet girl. Xx

    1. Hey Kelly-Jane,
Thanks for reading today and sharing your ideas for bbq marinades and bbq sides! Hope you had a great weekend!

  5. You talk about going to Austin once a month for photo shoots. Where do we see these photo shoots? Why Austin?

    1. Hey Linda! Happy Sunday!

These shoots are recipe focused shoots. I’m creating the recipes for our website! Cooking, videoing and photographing them. It’s not going to be every month, just for the next few months over the summer. Trying some new things out!

Hope you have a great week!!

  6. Love the concept of easy Summer menus and casual dinners! I would love to see a menu with fresh Summer produce.

Thank you for your beautiful recipes and content.

    1. Thanks a lot for these recommendations, Susanne! I appreciate you reading today. Have a nice week ahead!

  7. Ballerina Farms protein powder IS the best! I keep vanilla always and then rotate a second flavor. Strawberry is great for Spring and Summer.

    1. Hey Nancy,
It’s so good right?! I’m excited to try the strawberry, good know it’s one of your favorites.

Thanks for reading today! Happy Sunday!

  8. I’d love to see more easy make ahead dinners for entertaining.
Take good care of of yourself and know you have so many of us who truly appreciate all you do!

    1. Thanks so much, Linda:) I can definitely try to do some more make ahead options for easy entertaining.

      Have a great Sunday!

  9. Individualized recipes for a crowd! Like mini skillet recipes: both sweet and savory!! For those little, individual/single serve 4″ skillets…tried classic mini cobblers and chocolate chip cookies… but want to try something more substantial like a bake or taco dish or something! Not necessarily easy or less work😅, but definitely fun, would love to see your take!

    1. Hey Tara,
Thanks so much for sharing these ideas, love the mini skillet suggestion! I appreciate you reading today! Enjoy your Sunday!

  10. Ahh I must have missed an update!! You’re in Austin every month now for recipes? Is it just blog recipes or new ones? Would love to hear more about what prompted this! So fun!

    1. Hey Allie! All new recipes coming to HBH soon! It’s been so fun cooking and shooting in Austin!

      Thank you!

  11. What made life beautiful this week was friends over for dinner and a front yard game of bocce ball before. Pickelball with wonderful friends. Waiting for my 100+ sweet peas to bloom that I started by seed in my garden house. Packing for Lake Tahoe anticipating great kayaking.
I am glad to hear your life is happy. Thank so much for the great recipes.

    1. Hey Greer,
Thanks for taking the time to read today and sharing your wonderful week with me. Sounds like such a nice time. Enjoy Lake Tahoe!

  12. If you are getting into journaling more, read Suleika Jaouad, The Art of Alchemy…she did a cameo teaching at my daughter’s high school many moons ago and is fabulous!!! You will thank me later!! And she has the most talented husband!! Jon Batiste

    1. Hi Tanya,
Thanks so much for sharing this recommendation, I will definitely have to check her out!

Thanks for reading today, have a great Sunday!

  13. I entertain a lot especially in the summer. I would love a cookbook of easy crowd pleasing recipes that you can make ahead of time

    1. Thanks a lot for sharing this suggestion, Fawn! Definitely something to keep in mind for the future:)

      Enjoy your Sunday!

  14. Tieghan,

Do you remember the white chocolate lavender cookie recipe that was part of an ice cream sandwich recipe you created a few years back? That recipe is gold and I have made it many times and get rave reviews each time! They are often in my freezer so I can have them with a cup of tea – SO good! I will try the lavender sugar cookies as well but this is why I grow my own lavender now! Happy that you are happy!

    1. Hey Susan,
Love to hear you have enjoying the cookie recipe for so long, that makes me so happy! Let me know how the lavender sugar cookies turn out for you.

      Have a great Sunday!
